In March 2003, the restaurant was awarded “Manbo Fish Food Gourmet”, in
April, Mola mola is formally named as Man-Bo fish, and “Man-Bo Fish
Festivity“ becomes an important yearly event in Hualien.
In July Sankokuighi restaurant was awarded “Excellent Restaurant” by
Regional Administrative Department of Health. And Sankokuighi restaurant
focuses on developing Man-Bo Fish cuisine.
Became the first non-poisonous agricultural demonstration restaurant of
Hualian County in 2004, all foods served are through non-poisonous
agricultural farms. And this restaurant developed over 100 cuisines to
promote non-poisonous agricultural, so it is called " non-poisonous
restaurant” and this restaurant also made efforts on saving energy and
resource. Therefore, we also called it “ the green shop”, again, it get
“ GSP fine service” award.
To participate the International Chinese Table Delicacies Exhibition in
2004, Sankokuighi’s products were selected to be Taiwan Accompany Hand
gift, among hundreds of products for the competition. This is the first
time that aquatic fish products were selected to be the hand gift. It is
really the honor of Hualien.

At the beginning of this restaurant, the boss -
Mr. Chuang started to take the chance of helping poor students to work
for a temporary job at this restaurant. Therefore, they have a part-time
job and are capable for the tuition fee. This restaurant is also
sponsoring to help and rebuild Hualien shelter. It creates an
opportunity for people to participate, and keep the foundation to offer
long-time jobs for students. It also shows their lovely care for
help-needed groups, likes donating goods and materials to orphans.
Mr. Chuang insists on feedbacking his business revenue to people in
return. Marketing activity of this restaurant is to satisfy the need of
consumers or the need of the local development, so his concept is full
of charity.
" Sankokuighi " devotes for developing healthy foods. The first cup of
healthy beverage made from the Man-Bo fish in the world is created here,
and also the first ice cream made from Man-Bo fish. The customers are
always full of curiosity, so this restaurant is still thinking how to
adopt healthy materials to develop healthy meals for the public. This is
the restaurant that are creating their own characteristic and value.
